Biafra or Biafra Inc. is a multifaceted artist from the Twin Cities who uses a variety of mediums, including spray paint, screen printing, stencils, stickers, and posters. His early beginnings came from an interest in skateboarding and punk rock which pushed him into stencils and graffiti in 2003 and then into screen printing and more traditional painting in 2007. He holds a BFA from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with an emphasis in printmaking. His work is both personal and political. Biafra's art is a visual retelling of experiences, people and stories that are a part of his life.

Murals

Biafra has painted murals across the country with his large comic book characters and bold lines. He has worked with plenty of businesses of all sizes including local restaurants like Earl Giles and Reverie as well as bigger projects for, X Games, 3M, SNF on NBC and more.

Fine Art

Biafra's fine art uses both painting and screen printing to add texture and layers of information in the bold lines of the characters and scenes he illustrates.

Design

Biafra has designed for print and products from everything from shirts to vinyl toys to trading cards and everything in between.
